Bowsher, the Republican National Lawyers Association’s (RNLA) Vice President for Programming, served as Master of Ceremonies and Conference Chair at the RNLA's 17th Annual National Policy Conference, “Back to the Constitution” held on May 5, 2017 at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. Speakers, including state attorneys general, White House officials, and Representative Keith Rothfus (R-PA), addressed the Republican National Lawyers Association’s annual conference, which was carried live on C-SPAN2.

His practice focuses principally on corporate and transactional matters, including those involving troubled companies, and on bankruptcy and corporate restructuring issues. He also spends time in the firm's DC office on government relations matters. Prior to joining the firm he worked most recently as Acting General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel at the United States Department of Commerce.
