He has significant experience with tax planning and the formation of timberland investment funds.

Adams and Reese has an extensive forestry practice involving various aspects of the timber industry, representing stakeholders on a statewide, regional and national level. Dunaway’s international experience further broadens the scope of the firm’s practice.

“Glenn is well-known for his work in the timber industry,” said Gif Thornton, managing partner of Adams and Reese. “We are pleased to welcome him to our new Atlanta office.”

Prior to joining Adams and Reese, Dunaway worked at a boutique law firm in Atlanta as a managing partner from 1995-2006. Most recently, he served as head of the Timberland Practice Group of another Atlanta-based law firm and he also previously served as a partner in the Tax Group in one of the world’s largest international law firms, focusing on cross-border investment transactions in private equity and commercial real estate.

Dunaway is AV® Peer Review rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed among The Best Lawyers in America for Tax Law by Best Lawyers® each year since 2013.
